Bhaiyo ane behno,

If you use an always-on internet connection like cable or DSL, you might want to download this product. Its called ZoneAlarm. Basically its a free firewall that protects your computer from hacker attacks. If you're thinking that why would a hacker want to attach my computer, you'll be surpirsed at the number of reasons. Its not very difficult for a hacker these days to either delete info from your computer, steal information and misuse it or use your computer in a Denial of Service (DOS) attack, if it is not protected. With the amount of information most of us have on our PC's, its not a good idea to take chances. The download link is as follows.

Also, I strongly recommend buying an anti-virus package like Norton AV. With the thousands of viruses, worms and trojans on the net these days, it is critical to run a virus scan every few days. The symantec site lets you run a virus-scan for free anytime from its site. Go to

http://www.symantec.com/nav/nav_9xnt/

and click on "check for security risks" and then "Scan for viruses".

You can download a trial version of Norton Antivirus 2002 here. It works for a month...

Enjoy. :)

SPYBOT - SEARCH AND DESTROY.

Have you inadvertently downloaded some Spyware of Adware on your PC? Do ad-popups keep coming on your PC and you have no idea where they come from and why? Download this free software to stop all that. There's a informative video on the download site that tells you more of the types of adwares and spywares out there.

The best part?? Its compeltely free.

Yes...I strongly agree with you...! I have been using ZoneAlarm for quite some time now..and it is excellent product and free too.... :)
Also, everybody should consider removing the unwanted services from their computers..e.g if they are not using the WWW,FTP or SMTP service ...they should consider removing it so that any vulnerabilities related to it does not affect them.

or You can also check your computer for viruses online free of cost. some people don't like to install the antivirus program on their computer so here is the solution. just visit there and it will scan your computer for viruses and clean it up for you.

thats what I do every week.

I think it is advisable to use the package what includes everything.
I am using Norton Security Professional 2002, 2003 and happy with it.

It has firewall, Anti virus, privacy control, anti adware etc.. all features.

It is worth to get it. (ps.. norotn eats big chunk of system resources)

Cheers!!!!!!!
