Here in this part of world we depend lot on the internet, specially those who own a house, I'd like to share some good websites which will help us to do things ourselves as it is very expy to hire a plumber, garderner , electrician, interior decorator or even a car mechanic.

1)One of the best one is 'www.ehow.com' on this website you can get all the info on the little things that you need to do around the house.

2) When you need to travel to the US or even in Canada or even in the city, you just go on 'www.mapquest.ca', put the address in & the website will show you the directions, it is almost having a navigator. :-)

3) There is a very good tool by google know as 'google earth', you can see your own house there, also some parts in India, all satellite pictures, indeed a great too. You need to download it on your computer though, it is very good to locate addresses too.

4) 'www.google.ca' the best tool for searching, whatever your queries are just put them in, you get the right result & you definitely get it.

5)Also when you are buying a house you can go to listings sites of the area that you are looking to buy to get the idea of how much the houses cost in that certain area, this applies to both buyers & sellers. (Also a tip to buyers, always ask what will be the closing cost when you will be buying a house. closing cost is something besides the house price, lot of time people put all the money in as down payment & end up having problems with the closing cost.)

6) to find a person or phone number you can use 'www.411canada.ca'

Google earth is definitely pretty cool. Although it's not in real-time, it still does a great job of pinpointing places all around the globe...

What do you mean by real time.I dont think zipcodes gets created every other day. Also there is a reason that google does not pin point the place...Security
