Massoodji,
I got news tht Alberta provincial govt. is giving out work permits, and that it is very easy to get them. They need people in all feilds to come and work in Alberta.
Also i heard that if one can get hold of an alberta work permit then the imigration process will be completed in 6 months at CHC delhi.

Is this true or just that I am being misled by someone who wants to make a quick bug??

Please clarify.

i am an international stoudent in toronto
and i am also reserching on this topic from long..the onl person who can help us is an imigration lawyer. .so i have put up request to all calgarians to send me some local lawers name and numbers..if u can help with same..maybe our group effort will help..where are u guys from?are u student

Here is what I heard yersterday from a guy.
There are definetly opportunities in Alberta.
Engineers definetly should give it a shot.
As per him, two of his friends who have been in odd jobs for years (one of them for 6 years) recently got a job in Engineering.
He also claims "People who have been driving TAXIS" are getting into jobs in their own field.
