I am a desi just immigrating to Canada. My wife expecting and we have decided to have the baby in India.Can some pls guide us on:
1. Which is the best way for me to get my child to canada?
2. Do I need to spend one year (file my return) before I can sponsor my child.
3. Is there some minimum income criteria I need to show to get my infant baby?
4. How fast can I get medical insurance for the baby once it arrives in Canada.
5. How soon can My child get a PR status? Will my child miss on any other benfits besides citizenship?

Plz go to canada rather than having baby in india. It will be mess as you will have resend your application along with your baby's. It's better to have your baby in canada as he will be a candian citizen by birth. also will save lot of delay and new process.

Thanks for the link . I ve a few q -
1. In case a person gets married out of Canada after landing as 'single' should he keep the CHC informed ?
2. Wud there be any complications in sponsoring his wife in such a case without a baby ?
3. In case they ve been blessed with a child before the spouse's sponsorship application is filed then should the aplication include the childs's detail as well and are there any monetary conditions in such a case.
