What are the advantages/disadvantages of having a baby in Canada?

Hello All,
my wife is in a similar situation, she is 5 months pregnant.
Both of us Canadian PRs, and we are currently in USA
We are planning to have our baby here in USA so he/she will be
US citizen by birth.
But down the road i we do want to move to Canada.
Is anybody aware of the process to get Canadian Immigration for a US born baby.
Any leads will help me greatly.

He/she will get a US Passport.
No visa required to travel to Canada.
Thus no short term problems. You are good for present.

There is plenty of time to work this out.

No one can sue him till he is of age.
