I have a major following concern:
My wife is carrying and we will complete a year soon after landing in Canada. I am getting an offer from middleeast and plans to travel with job. Wife is doing well with the job in hand here in Canada. But if she delivers a baby, by default the baby will get Canadian citizenship. But in future, if baby has to travel to India, is there any easy solution to it, like OCI?
Thanks in advance and summer regards....
Until one or both of you becomes a Cdn citizen, the child has to travel to India on a tourist visa. OCI is not possible in your situation. I am not sure about PIO.

Thanks for your reply...
Also if she stays here and gets the baby delivered ..the new one will have Canadian passport...But she has to wait for her eligibilty to become citizen and then get OCI for all and come to India...is it right?
And in the meantime if for any reason she need to come back to India she has to get a visit visa for the baby with Canadian ppt..
I hope I got it correct then....
Thanks again Dimple...
You can get a PIO card for the baby.
