Hi,
We are having PR of Canada. Our Child is born in US. We are not living in Canada but we have maintained the status. We have not filed the Tax Returns for Canada as we live in US. We want to immigrate our child to Canada? What is the procedure for that? How much time it takes & How much does it cost?
Would appreciate your reply.
Thank you very much.
As long as you have kept up your status you will be able to sponsor your child for PR. just go online CIC website and you can read up and down load the form. You should be able to get it in a few months.
best of luck
If you and your spouse are already PR (and you are), you will be sponsoring to make your foreign born child a PR.
Visit cic.gc.ca
It says specifically, that only Cdn citizens living outside Canada may be able to sponsor. Considering only PRs and citizens can sponsor, it seems to indicate that PRs not living in Canada cannot sponsor.
Please check the website and read carefully or consult someone to be sure.

Please read page 7 and page 13, paragraph 1
