Duncan,
Thank for that. I really feel we should do something about the delay. I got my file no in April 04, 2002. I am about to complete 48 months this April.I was 30 when I applied. So, what you are saying is absolutely right.

I was thinking after seeing ur timeline that the time CHC, new delhi is taking to process the case is ridiculas. and is it worth waiting for that long for coming to canada?
5-6 yrs is the present timeline for immigration. and lets take an example of a person who applied at the age of 35, when he will get visa he will be around 40 or 41.
and after coming here at 41, he will not be in a position to upgrade his/her skills to canadian standard (i hope u guys know that canadian employer prefers canadian education over indians). and he will not be happy doing labor jobs or driving cabs at that age. what he will do? his childrens will be 12+ age and they too will have problem adjusting to the culture here.
living in 1 country for 40 yrs and then migrating to other one when only few more yrs are left for retirement is a foolish decision. I think as per present timeline of immigration, it is only good for youngsters in age group of 22-25. and that too at the time of applying, so when they come here they are 30 and can easily upgrade their skills and get a good decent job. but for 40+ canada is not a place to be in, unless and untill u will be having ur own business.
I think all you people should get together and talk to some good lawyer like massod ji to file a case on ur behalf in canada and ask the govt to shortened the timeline. and the govt should realise this thing and increase its staff in CHC new delhi to shortened the timeline for maximum to 2yrs and average should be 1 or 1 1/2 yr for processing a case.

Any one have Idea what they will ask ?
Thank you.
Does overall band score of IELTS have any value?
Or 7 score in all tests is a must?
Hi,
My brother has not cleared yet IELTS exam. But his eductaions all from english medium. If they want IELTS exam result then he will get some trouble. On what basis they will reject the candidate application after interview. ?
Thank you.
