Is this correct ?

There are no restricted occupations at this time...
AFAIK, Call center jobs were considered as restricted occupations....
So what will be the NOC code for call center jobs ??
Hi Jigar,
It depends like if call centre job is not comes in Tech Support then it it noc 2282
http://www23.hrdc-drhc.gc.ca/2001/e/groups/1453.shtml which is B class job.
otherwise if your job duties are like customer service for bank , credit card companies or collection agencies then it lies under
http://www23.hrdc-drhc.gc.ca/2001/e/groups/1453.shtml
which is a skill level C class job.

Sukhwinder Singh
Namaste Sukhwinder Ji,
Thank you for all the information.
Kindly answer this one too.
In the Self Assessment tool on CIC website for Skilled Worker, in Factor 5 for 'Arranged Employment', under Bullet point number 2, it says:
C. The work permit was valid at the time you made your permanent resident visa application and at the time the visa, if any, is issued;
I understand & qualify all other (a,b & d) requirements, but his one confuses me. What does it mean ?
My workpermit was issued in March 2006 & is valid till March 2007. Can I claim the arranged employment points ?
I hope against hope that you will answer my question & that my plea will not fall on deaf ears.
Awaiting with anticipation,
Thank You,
Parimal.
Hey Pari...!!
I think you do not qualify for those five points under arrange employment. But I would like to confirm it with Sukh..
Sukh please correct me if I am wrong.
