Hi
I became canadian citizen. I have a friend in atlanta who asked me to come over and help him in his business. I also heard from so many people they are moving to USA and working or own a gas station and MOTEL.
Can anybody tell me what kind of visa and procedure is required.If you have any link please send it to me.

To legally work in the USA you will need to have a TN Visa.
For working in Gas stations and other odd jobs, we will have to wait for some other CD member to enlighten us.
Even i have the same question. If i (a canadian citizen) want to work odd jobs in the USA/ Work for cash without any type of visa, How long can i stay in USA without registration with my Canadian Passport?

The answer is 0 (zero) days. Because anything you do in US without a valid visa is illegal and you may be subjected to deportation (if caught by INS).
For working odd jobs (gas stations etc) there is no category of visa.

I am a Candian citizen holding a Canadian passport. I wish to vist my brother in the USA and stay there. (he is a green card holder). He will feed me and i will stay in his house , watching TV /Movies the whole day.
In this case, how long can i stay at his house in the USA without returning to Canada?
1 year , 2 years, 180 day?

Thanks for the reply but i have one more doubt.
How will the USA immigration monitor me. When i enter the country (USA) will the USA immigration enter my details in the computer system (i donot even need a passport to enter the country!). I know for sure that the USA does not moniter me when i exit at the Can-USa border (eg. @ niagra falls by walk). If i finish the 180 days in USA and return to Canada,when is the next time i can enter USA legally (wait time/ cool off period)
