Before you buy a home, look at factors such as neighbouhood, schools, taxes and local amenities. Also how easy is it for you to get to work?. The number one advice I have given t o immigrants though when helping them buy a home is to assimilate yourself in the community, the more you put in the more you will get out and the less lonley you will feel.
