Dear sir,

I have got my PR card in April 2003 and I was in Canada only for one week.

I know that my PR will expire by April 2008 as I am not satisfying 2/5 rule.

I want to make a holiday trip to Canada in Dec 2006. I hope that I may not face any problem in entering canada as my PR card is still valid eventhough , I may not be eligible for renew the PR card.

I have renewed my passport and I got a new passport. Do I need to inform any department in Canada about the change in Passport and get the new PR card.

Plz advise.

You don't have to inform anyone. You just have to carry both your old and the new passports when you enter canada.
