Hi all CD members,
We had our first meeting of the MEMO (Mentors in Motion ) as it is called, it was a well organised and lively meeting, I wish to personally thank all the mentors for having it given the shape to a noble thought.
This post is for all other CD members to take the advantage of the lovely selfless service this mentors have to offer.

Does a diploma obtained by doing a CANADIAN online course help in any way in getting a job?

Here in India, a person having a diploma through an online program hardly ever gets a job. Is the situation the same in Canada?

Or does it depend upon the subject? --- I was thinking of doing an online course (Canadian) in HR while in India (cause doing the regular course in India as DT had earlier suggested, is not working out).

The cost of Canadian online courses are mind boggling in Indian currency, but I will spend that money if these courses have a value in the Canadian job market.

Thanks peacock1. It was a real pleasure to meet everybody at the meeting and we are glad to have such a sincere group of mentees.

The mentor matching process will be completed today and we will be contacting mentees with meeting schedules and details.
