This article is especially for those who are scratching their heads as to why India-Pakistan peace process is going nowhere.
If there was one article which sums up India and Pakistan relations….This is it!
The writer has shown amazing clarity which the proponents of Aman ki Tamasha are lacking. There is a very good reason as to why our peace overtures with Pakistan are not working.

"For us, 1948, 1965, 1971, and 1999 are just some dates involving past conflicts. Barring some armymen, no one in the present generation even remembers those wars. We don’t even have the grace to remember the sacrifices of our heroes of those times – even the one in Kargil, which is almost recent memory."
As far as India and its capital Delhi are concerned, history seem to repeat itself century after century for the last 1000 years.
When 26/11 was happening, our people had the audacity to continue their bus travel across the border? When our brothers are shedding blood and getting killed, while defending us and for our own peace and safety, we are searching for brides and grooms from across the border.
For all we know, this Congress government's procurement of Abu Jindal might be to protect him from Saudi Arabia'a strict anti-terrorism laws, which might have issued capital punishment to him. Just lke Ajmal Kasab, Jindal will also be another "State Guest".
That "we should further people-to-people contact", that ISI is different from the Pak Army, the Pak Army is different from the Pak Govt, that the Pak govt., is different from its people? "State Actors", Non-State Actors etc., etc. Are these all not the same? There is no limit to our inventing jargons. There is no limit to our desire to live in a fool's paradise.
It is an open secret, that Pak runs a parallel "Nasik" to print our currency and ruin our economy.
After 26/11, when the Congress government for the sake of its vote bank reopened dialogue, the Pak PM had the audacity to say that the Govt of India had "climbed down" because of "pressure" from the "people" of India.
As a nation, no other country in this planet has so much traitorship en mass. It is a wonder how we still happen to survive.

Fault lies with India. No long term strategy to deal with Pakistan, waiting for peace to happen
!! the meaning of 'peace' knows no body. What is the agenda after the 'peace' is agreed up on ? Will 'it' be sustained ? Earlier both countries were trying to please /impress America and shaking hands with fake smiles, US factor is diminished, what is the compulsion now?
Muslims do not want peace with other religion, they are taught by their dud-mentors to convert whole world into Islam and day will come when last soul says Allah-o-akbar and pro-phut then comes, lifts everybody from graves and takes to jannat full of hoors. Every religion is full of such moronic story , Islam takes lead.
Best is declare 'no ties' with pakistan, have a strategy to stifle their economy (a non violent approach - Gandi will be happy eh ! , he tried same against the queen eh ! non-cooperation!) and then see tamasha from sideline.
Who says there's no long term strategy? Here it is! Cricket!

Salt on the wounds of people who lost loved ones in the terrorist attacks orchestrated by Pakistan, but who cares? Disgraceful but hardly surprising in a country ruled by some of the most shameless politicians in the world.
Cue circus music for those who'll write "it is the same in every country..."

Are you there?
Stop Cricket, Lahore Bus, marriages and alliances...??? really? what do you think stopping such nominal things would really prevent bigwigs from planning other attacks? And the ones who plans the attacks do they really care that India did no allow cricket team to come over...come on..Every attack happened due to holes in security and intel..26/11 taught a big lesson..and security improved..though not to the extent it should have been. I think social interaction and keeping country secure are 2 separate things. How so ever strong or weak relations any country has with any other country..when it comes to safety and security of it's citizens they all should be treated equally and with equal mistrust. India has strong military, strong economy and strong population..still we fail, why? why do we get attacked every time? because we allow them to..hopefully things are changing now and more focused on seurity than Sania getting married to Shoeb..Common people suffer in the beuracracy while culprits gets easily escaped after all the devasatation.
Nice dialogue from one of Sunny's film which should be implemented:
"Doodh Mangoge to Kheer denge Kashmir mangoge to Cheer denge"
Allow the Paki cricket team to come but send such an invisible team there which could take out Dawood while match is in its final over.
