I will be landing Toronto during end of August 2006, along with my pregnant wife. Can some one provide me some links/information regarding medical insurance, which covers child birth also.
Thanks in advance.
Kamal.

You will be able to find more links using "Search in Charcha."
AFAIK, insurance companies will not cover any preexisting illness or pregnancy, but you can call (or send email) and ask them.

Edmonton Alberta in Canada will be the major location. The flights are routed through Toronto . There may be direct flights also. Find out before you start your journey, if you are not there already.
To get a better idea of the location, please go to www.gov.ab.ca
It will be nice to know the place you would like to head to.
Lots of good Jobs there. Climate is very cold.
As soon as you land find a family physician.
Get his location, phone number and pager too.
If you know a family there, then, the life becomes a little easier.
Do print out the address and locations of the hospitals there before you land.
Do land here before october-November of the year, before it gets too cold.
Take good care of your self.
Happy Landings.
