Hello Mr. Massoud:
I am on a one year post graduate work permit in Canada. I am planning to go to India soon, however, my work permit specifically says "Does not authorize re-entry".
I am told I would have to get a visitor visa from India to re-enter Canada, even tough I hold a valid work permit. How difficult it would be to get the visitor visa from New Delhi.
Also, what all documents do I need to carry to get the visitor visa from India?
Thanks in advance
AB
Wrong spelled massood.... Anyways...
That is actually called TRV - temporary resident visa which can be issued from Buffalo before you exit Canada. You can get it stamped from India too but people prefer to get it done by Buffalo. And yes, it is true that you are not authorized to re-enter without valid visa in your passport.
These may help you.
