I Believe you have been staying here for a while and i seek your inputs, please give me your fair assessment.

"I came from India a year ago and by God's grace am pretty well settled in Toronto. I am planning to buy a house now but the cost is too high, plus Toronto is getting more and more crowded, crime rate is quite high too.

I am into Hotel Sales & Marketing, do you think there are enough hotels there and what about cost of a decent detached or semi detached house? Is the weather colder than toronto or milder. Which city would be better in the long run to stay?

I seek your views please!

I am happy to hear that you are settled in the City Toronto with in a year by your efforts and god's grace.

cost of a decent deteached or semi deteached house? 300 to 500 K depends on varoius factors.... ,

I am yet to travel out of the GTA and I have no idea about actual conditions.

I went to alberta. can't compare it with toronto. If you are engineer yes alberat is for you. if not the life is same as in toronot. cost of living is equal to toronto or more. normal office jobs are paid much lesser than toronto. a house in toronot that may cost you 350K will cost you 600 k.

I don't know if this is the right thread to say this, but I've been rading up on Alberta and a lot of people are of the opinion that it's a growing bubble riding on the back of the oil and gas industry. Once that bubble bursts, AB wont be as popular anymore. Any inputs?
