Britain based Belair Communications closed shop in Bangalore last month and let go 93 staff. They just told the staff one morning verbally. There were no prior talk of closing down. Staff had no inkling abt this. Salaries and other benefits were not settled. All this becasue there are no exit policies in India for the BPO operations. Any MNC can shut shop without giving any reasons or even salaries.
