Helloo ,
We have applied for PR on skilled Immigration Point system in dec 2004 , and we were told that we are on 18 Months Waiting period from london , UK office as we reside in the UAE . Last week we got a letter stating that the waiting period has increased till further one yr almost which makes it next yr august.
The only way to avoid that is to get an Job Offer with HRDC Approved...
Would anyone know how could i go about this and if i need a Job Offer then how can i get it and how can HRDC be done?

go on to the HRDC websites and apply for jobs. if you are lucky you might find a company which is looking for an employee just like you and is not able to get in canada. what are your qualifications? profession? you might want to apply in small places they are always short in small towns.

Thanxs for your response on the topic.
Actually , i have been suggested to locate small shop owners and ask them to give us an offer .
Basically , my husband who i am on holds a Mechanical Enginneering Diploma and he has worked as a supervisor in UAE and also Manageral Experience , so we just need something in the worked field.
Which Website shud i look into for the HRDC?

There are people , skilled immigrants, came from different countries to Canada;living and meeting employers on daily basis for the employment opportunities........................
The suceess rate is may be 10 % or less and all others are doing general labour job.
To get a HRDC valid work permit from the Canadian Employers is really a million dollar question. NO doubt about that.
