Hello All
Can I search/apply/get jobs if I land in Canada on a visit visa????. Apparently from all I've read in this site and other sites about Canada is one cannot hope to get work permit/job unless you land there. Appreciate your response. Thanks in advance.
regards
Ramesh
It is very difficult that you come here on visit visa and expect to get a job. Whoever is willing to hire you will not be ready to wait for over 2 months for you to get the visitor's visa converted to Work Permit. They would rather hire somebody who is ready to report to work within a week or two of hiring.
In most of the PNP program, the provinces ask for whether I have a job offer or not. How can I get a job offer unless I land up in that particular province? Again, a potential employer may have to wait for at least a year before I can join him and render my service, so I am worried nobody is going to select me for that post. Could any kind heart give me some guidance here?
Thank you so much.
