At the beginning I would like to congratulate everyone and the site-administrators for this excellent site. Trust me I have been to thousands of Indian-Desi sites and none can beat this one!

I am on my end of the 5th year on H1B in USA and have filed for Green Card but am not interested in US immigration (except its money/job) and would like to move to CANADA.
Can I apply for PR in Buffalo,USA though I am an Indian Citizen? (I get 69 points.)
Will I have to go to India for stamping etc?
What is the processing time?
Should I use an Attorney? in US or Canada?

Hi,

As long as you are legally admitted in US for one year, you can apply from Buffalo. As you are in the 5th year of H1B, you are eligible.

You will get the stamping of PR in US itself.

Processing time varies from 1.5-2.5 years.

You can use an attorney or file it by yourself
