I have sponsored my parents in Jan2006.But now I lost my Job this month .Can I apply for layoff for some times if yes will it makes any effect on my parents sponsor ship application. I already have the gross income equal to the amount I need for sponsorship

Yes you can,

You have long way to go. It will take 26 months before you application is assessed. By that time you will get the job
