Hi everybody,
I am desperately looking for somebody to help me on this issue. Now I am studying abroad , and I received a letter from the citizenship office asking me for fingerprints.
I asked here if they offer such services in police stations but the answer was negative each time.
Only private organizations give such services.
So is that going to be a problem if I will have my fingerprints here not in Canada??
Please let me know since I only have single entry visa to the country I am studying in and it will be a risk if I leave???
What to do???
(Very upset
How do you expect people to help you if you don't specify what country you're in? ... perhaps the Canadian consulate there? though I am not sure..

Since you are very upset because of something that could / should have been expected when you applied for citizenship, and also since you do not know your location (as shown under your name), I think the best thing to do is send your fingers to your friends here in Canada who can get the fingerprinting done for you.

I dont know how far will my response help but here goes :
Any Indian / Canadian Consulate should be able to vouch the authenticity of your finger prints .If in India I do not know which organizations do the job but I assume Office of the District Magistrate / Passport Office should be able to provide such authentication.

I am amazed to see that Canadian Desi is so popular in a location not known to you and the very first post you put is a negative one with your screen name as very upset!
If you do not know anyone in Canada who will do the work for you, I will help you with this - just send me your fingers!
