Has anybody done Fingerprints in US recently. I've been told at the local police station that they don't do it anymore. Any other place can you suggest?

we found the FBI office in our city ( st paul Minnesotta) and went there . they will do the finger printing and give it to you. yuo need to then send it to Langley with the fee. you should have the prints variefied and all in 2 weeks. We went to a police station and got the contact. you will need to take the canadian councelate letter with you which requests your fingerprinting.

And do we usually go for fingerprints once we receive such request from canadian embassy or we could do it before hand?
Am currently waiting either for a interview request or medical forms request (in case interview waiver)

There are also fingerprinting agencies that are certified by Govt. Mostly these are Private inverstigators etc. Check for Fingerprinting agency in your local Yellow Pages..
