Hi All,

Did someone had to give fingerprints for citizenship application ? And if yes, then after how many months of submitting fingerpints, did he get a test date ?

Well My friend I have asked for FP after 9 months I have Submitted them More than a month but I have no idea wheather they recived it or not ...I called CIC so many times but they are unable to tell either they recived my FP or not!! as per CIC Agent I have to wait for another 10 months for background check

If someone get the test date after submitting the finger prints and after how many months of submitting FP did he get the test date? and after how many months he/she asked for finger prints?

I am still wondering about this. Is FP for everyone? I never got to deal with FP. No one asked. Got the test, oath, and citizenship.
At least I can inform others who are seeking citizenship.

Hi Folks after the long long wait of 14 months my background check has cleared now, I called CIC last week and they said they Just recive by clearence papers from RCMP and soon they will put me for citizenship test...I want to ask, anybody have an idea how it will take long for citizenship test coz friend of mine is waiting from last 2 months for his citizenship test, I belive I am standing at the same point where he were 2 months ago..any comment!!

After 12 months (of waiting from the date of application receipt) I called CIC today, and they said all the checks (FP etc...) were completed in August, and the local CIC (mine: Windsor) would send me the Test date letter anytime, (they said, would take from 2-6 months after the checks completion)

It's 2 months now that my checks were completed, does anyone know how long it \"actually\" takes, to send the test date letter ??

Also, does anyone know the Oath ceremony schedule date/dates in Windsor (either in december or before) ??
