I have two questions regarding immigration application at Canadian consulate, Buffalo.
(1) Lawyers suggest to go for fingerprints and PCC while our application is in process. But it clearly says in the immigration guide "Don't apply for Canadian PCC unless you are asked to do so"
I dont have a lawer, I applied at Buffalo in Jan'06.. Should I get my fingerprints and PCC done before they ask me to do so ?
Or I should wait untill they tell me...
Why all lawyers ask their clients to complete this process before visa officer asks to do so ?
(2) How do i come to know when canadian consulate general do an initial assessment for my application ? Do they inform me by a letter or by any other way??
Thank you
