Hi All,
Has anyone lived or currently living in this building Mississauga place at Kaneff Crescent. Any feedback will be apprecaited in terms of building managment, accomodation, nearby elementary schools etc. , I'm considering this for my move planned next month.

I have been living at Mississauga Place since March and have seen quite a few changes in the building mgmt since then. Based on my expereinces, here are a few Pros and Cons
PROS
1. Nice, Clean and well maintained apartments at a decent price.
2. The new Building Mgmt is very proactive on repairs both within the apartment and the building itself.
3. A new coinless laundry system has made life easier
4. Underground parking - Paid but negotiable.
5. Some units come with dishwasher - we actually got one installed recently so you should ask for one.
6. Opt for an apartment facing away from Hwy 10 otherwise you will get a lot of traffic noise.
7. There is a general store within the building, an awesome thing for snow days when you just don't want to get out for a can of milk.
CONS
1. Even though we have 3 elevators, one of them is usually in service every other week and this causes delays and frustration at times.
2. Lately, there have been a lot of "Emergency Plumbing Repairs" where they will shut off water for hours or even for a day. Doesn't happen every day but has been happening atleast once every 10 days.
3. During peak summer days, they shut of the AC to "prevent power blackout".
4. Gym and swimming pool facilities open AFTER 10 AM

HI Dhiren,
Security is decent all though we had a string of breakins last month. On the whole, access to the building and underground parking are restricted to tenants but then again, nothing is 100% secure. There is onsite security and the building management lives on the premises.
