I was in USA on H1B before 2 years. My H1B visa has been expired in 2005. Now, I am going to be Canadian Citizen after 1.5 year. I am thinking to get H1B visa again from new employer on my indian passport before becoming Canadian citizen.

I have following questions:

If I am coming to USA after 1.5 year on TN visa
1) who can file GC?(Employer or myself)
2) Should I need to pay tax in USA and Canada both?
3) Should I apply for SSN number? If yes, is it going to be same as previous(when I was on H1B, I had SSN number)?

If I am coming to USA with canadian passport and H1B visa stamp on my indian cancelled passport (NO TN visa)
1) Can I legally work for my H1B employer?
2) Should I apply for SSN again? SSN will be same as previous(when I was on H1B, I had SSN number)?

If I am coming to USA on H1B visa on my indian passport before becoming canadian citizen
1) Should I apply for SSN again? SSN will be same as previous(when I was on H1B, I had SSN number)?

You will have the same SSN as before
You will need to get an H1B to work in US
cdn passport or citizenship wil not affect your H1b status
you will be in the same queue as other Indians for GC and hence a part of retrogression
