I am a just-born memeber and looking for some help.

I am landing on 2nd week of March for 10 - 15 days with my family -spouse and 1 son of 10 years from Dubai.

I have tried links like Sunnynewcomers and Jessica's etc and booked - are these accomodations OK.

What will be the temperatures in March and what type of clothing should we carry.

I would also like to know if it is safe to give Sunnynewcomer's contact details for the PR card

What I should include in Good to follow list as I am returning back to Dubai after 15 days and will come back only a year or so (any sample lists will help us) / Goods accompany list

I haven't much experience with Sunny newcomers.
But did deal with them once. They seem to be okay.

and I will attach the one I used.

I wouldn't say its the best of the lot but you can use it as a sample one.

Welcome to Canada! If you know someone arrange with them for your temp. days accommodation, that way is better to use any service.

For goods to follow try to make list as big as possible, just add like Kitchen Utensils, Boxes of Cloth, Boxes of kids books, Boxes of Cable, put it everything what you have at your home, so when you bring container, you don’t have to explain so much at Custom.

Dear CD,

I am from Kuwait Las year I have styied in Sunnynewcomers. The rooms are seprate .The only thing is Wash room (Hammam ) to be shared. It is closed to Flamington Park. The room rent is resonable. No need to bring anything except bath soap & Sampoo.

In addition I would advise - DO NOT open a bank account if you are likely to be away from Canada . That constitutes residential ties and hence makes you tax liable . Whichever place you stay at would oblige you by allowing you to use their address for PR / SIN card mailing .
