Do you work for Ajmals by any chance ? I recall they have a very good line up of perfumes ... I don't think they have an outlet outside of the GCC .. Sorry for digressing .

vanturam and cmanyam, I had a hearty laugh about your following comments

nice to see your reply by saying "here in Dubai now a days itz shaving not saving "... i second you by saying .. it more on shaving than saving...:)

If you feel so much since you cannot save much, atleast you are not making loss or your savings are going down the drain since you have atleast job in hand.

I am waiting for your reaction ( is there better or worst term than shaving);) you will need it, when you land here and start spending your saving or shaving for that matter:( till you get your job.

be positive even if your saving or shaving goes down the drain still it is worth getting citizenship plus some canadian education and experience to get better job prospects and plus a dream of entering US from canada. (stepping stone).

All the best and welcome to canada. Please do not lose your sense of humour since you will need lots of that to survive through difficult period.

since job market is opening up for computer and software professionals, this is the right time to land and try to get job in their own field. I think, if you really try hard, you will get job within one month of landing.

If you all are interested, I shall post all the links for software and computer professionals.

One well known company in etobicoke will be recruiting 4-5 software people in the month of April. I have my friend working (QA/QC)in that organisation. If anybody is interested, please send resume to email.and I shall refer. Salary for new immigrant will 35K to 40 k and for people with canadian experience will be 50K and above. send resume thro pm.

U should apply for ur sin, get a bank account and apply for a credit card.

I landed, left the country the same day and returned back after 3 years..
I only applied for sin , CRA did not come asking for tax returns during my periods of absence.

If u can apply for a credit card and use it once in a while and payoff by the time u move back u will have built a nice credit history..

I know a family which has gone back after getting citizenship, since they did not want their daughters to grow up in the environment here. They said they will come back for univesity of the girls. So it depends ...:)
