DishNet on Air is only available in US (Legally).
But I think we should get Internet Feed from Dishnet without problem in Canada. They are Official Provider on Internet for 'North America'

No, they cannot control the feed. Infact half (make that 3/4th) of Canada and almost entire Mexico have using watching DN.

DishNet subscribers have to provide a US address to subscribe to DN - legally. The back door entry is using an FTA (without subscribing)

FTA : Means FREE TO AIR.

There is a Satellite system sales person by name Ajith, who will explain to you what it is all about and the downside to it. It is free as long as it works. But Murphy's Laws apply. It breaks down at the most inopportune times.(and when the show or the game gets darn interesting) That is the time you would like to hit a punching bag to get your frustrations out.
