Thanks Iceberg ,
Yesterday some one suggested that buyer's realtors give a part of their commission up to 1.5% of 2.5% to the buyer ........ Is this a common practice ?

Fido.
I don't think so.. I got a $100 home depot gift card as a gift! But I guess everything is up for negotiation. But in any case 1.5-2.5% sounds too high as the buyer's agent get only 2.5% and part of it goes to the realty company.
Hi fido,
Yes, this is happening in Calgary. Buyer’s agent is passing that commission to buyer because who is brining buyer has upper hand. Buyer’s agent might be getting some extra %age from seller's agent.
Buyer and seller’s agent, reality, lawyer, inspector and everyone who does involve in transaction (commission) works as team. If one person gets out of sync that can jeopardize everybody's $$. Loosing few hundred $ is better than no deal.
Fido: I sent this message to your email by mistake. Sorry for that.
