Hi,
I need some clarifications regarding my sponsor application for my wife.
Last month, i got married and presently i am in India.
My wife, she is still pursing her studies.
We have applied for our marriage certificate.
My question is that her last name and my last name is different.
If i change her last name in the passport, then the last name will differ in her educational certificates.
What name should be used in filling the applications ( last name before marriage or after marrige).
Also, please tell me, what is the total fees to sponsor the wife.
Pls help
Thanks
Goud

Refer to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/applications/fc.html for fees and general guidelines
1) It does not make a difference if your wife applies under her maiden name, as long as you provide a marriage certificate
2) You are not supposed to provide educational certificates for sponsorship application.
Thanks for your reply freakoutguy,
I am little bit confused with teh fees particulars.
I have already gone through CIC website for the fees details, but confused.
Right of permanent residence - 490.00
Sponsorship application - 75.00
Permanent resident - family member 22 years old or older or is a spouse or common-law partner 550.00
Total Price($): 1115.00
Should i pay 550 also or only 490 + 75.00
I am just confused
Goud
Yoy have to pay 75 (Principal Sponsor) +550( Application Fees) + 490 (Right of Landing)
Thanks Freakout
