could you please answer some of my questions then I can definitely answer to your question

-What will you do if you are hungry and there is no food at home?
-what will you do if a dangerous animal is behind you and you want to save your life?
-What would you do if same things happen to you in your home country?
-do you believe in your self more or in your luck?

In this situation, my advise would be :

1. Declare Bankruptcy. This will wipe out your debts. There are some costs associated with this. The judge has to give you clearance from Bankruptcy protection. This may involve some time to stay in Canada.
2.Go to food banks. A lot of them are available in Toronto. Food banks not only gives you food but also day to day necessities like Toilet paperetc...
3. Go on social security. If you speak nicely to your social security agent, he may also give you a job as a school guard. He may also agree to pay your rent (directly to the landlord). Social security (Ontario works) has also some free job training programs.
4. Go on cash jobs.

This is the max. benifit that y9ou can get from Canada
after all this , if you still feel that your home country is better, Please go there.

Also if you struggle for 4 years with this , then you can get a cdn. passport and this can give you unlimited oppertunities across the world. You can go and work in the USA etc...
All the best for your future.

Hi

Can you please clarify: how long have you been job searching? What do you feel is preventing you from finding employment? what kind of work are you searching for ? Have you connected with any employment assistance programs?

Please explore all options prior to declaring bankrupcy. This can ruin your credit - and you cannot borrow money again for 7 years.

Hi All,

Thanks so much for your reply. I am in IT and looking for job since a 10 months. Have Lots of certifications and good experience.

Some of the questions suggested by 7Wonders are very true and a great deal of motivation for me at this time. Thanks big brother!

I have met the Employment councillor and she suggested me to be just patient and keep on applying.

Everyday just goes, recruiters call and they just submit my resume, nothing goes forward.

For One job

I went 4 rounds of technical Interview over a period of 2 months

Then HR interview,then reference checks.

Everything went right but they have not repsonded me back since a month.

Its taking lots of time,Specially with family and kids it becomes difficult.

Please suggest, where can I find some temp work.

if you are in IT and had interviews then keep faith ... something is definitely cooking ...
it takes some time for things to get moving ...

but then if you are very experienced, sometimes it can work against you as well ... ( I do not want to scare you but it does happen sometimes, SOMETIMES NOT ALWAYS ) ...

people are accepting applications for H1's for US ... did you try that at all ...

All the best ...

Speech by Thomas Friedman of The New York Times....

"When we were young kids growing up in America, we were told to eat our
vegetables at dinner and not leave them. Mothers said, 'think of the
starving children in India and finish the dinner.' And now I tell my
children: 'Finish your maths homework. Think of the children in India
who would make you starve, if you don't.'"
