Hi Canadatrust,
I do not recommend doing this unless you are watching the screen day in day out.

I do a bit of derivative trading on the Montreal Stock exchange on margins so the return is good. The TSX does not have F&0.

If you are looking for long term (7-10 yrs)strategies on a less riskier scale w/o shelling out a single dime from your pocket- please contact me. See pm.

If you want to make money with good returns try the forex scene. Better returns on your money. I just started after reading a real looooong thread on CD and if all goes well will prob leave derivatives for this as it does not require too much time and the returns are much much higher.

Again your call.

I would suggest you're a lot safer investing in high return mutual funds for Canadian investors. There are Canadian funds that have netted more than 50% in the last one year.

Could you name the some mutual funds? Thanks any way. Yeah 50% return is not bad and i think it is not risky........ Do you know If I can, say ,invest for six months in any mutual fund or I have to lock out for 1 year to threee years?
Thanks

Check this excellent resource out (http://globefunddb.theglobeandmail.com/gishome/plsql/gis.analyser). Do a filter search for greater than 50% returns to see the MF I mentioned earlier.

Hope this helps.

Hi Canadatrust,

I can't find the thread on forex now but perhaps Chandresh can help us out on this. He was the man on that thread.

Chandresh, if you can post the link to the thread where you invited several people for a forex session and where you also replied to one of my questions,
I am sure we would appreciate it. It was one started a couple years ago. I am sure you know the one I am referring to. Over 13000 views on that thread.

Thx
