Dear Sir,
I applied for Canadian PR through Berlin CHC,Germany in Feb 2006. I got the file number also. At the end of November i finished my Masters and submitted my degree proof for further points. Now i have 68 points alltogether.
Current status: It shows application is under process till todate. (Since Feb 2006 to till date)
In FEB 2007, i moved to UK and i am working here temporarily. I gave my friends address to Berlin CHC office after i relocated to UK.
It is now going to be 6th month here. So far i didnot mentioned about my presence in UK. I also heared that i have to submit a Police Clearance certificate -UK to the CHC.
It would be grateful, if you could answer the following questions.
1. Can i give my UK address to Berlin CHC office?
2. Is it compulsory to submit the UK-Police Clearance Certificate to Berlin CHC,because i have to get one?
3. Incase, if they call me for the interview to Berlin CHC. May i ask for the suitable date for my convinience?
4. If they call for interview after my GERMAN visas expiry date, what should i do about the interview?

Hello Bala,
I would try answering some of your questions.As i have also applied thru cic berlin in 2005.
My first suggestion do not let ur german visa expire until you get ur canadian immigration(i know itz hard but try doing it) I am saying this as it would reqally be a problem if you are scheduled for an interview and your german visa expires.If you would not be able to make it to the interview cic would assess your application with what you have provided.
Regarding asking for a conveinent date......listen when u get a letter intimating about an interview date they would mention or ask if that particular date is fine or if you would like to have another date...but ...the IO may or may not accept your request about changing your date it totally depends on IO.
Regarding your presence in uk......nowany unnecessary updates are time consuming and money consuming as well....what i mean is.....if you let cic know that you are in uk for more than 6 months itz pretty obvious that you have to submit ur pcc for uk...and moreover...if you are in uk just to do cash jobs that would arise questions to IO and he might schedule an interview.Just to know your real intentions and goals.But i would not encourage you to hide anything from cic.
I know ecas is quite frustrating as it doesnt change for years like mine still shows in process i applied in 2005 une AOR and i just finished my interview in may 2007
It was/is very hard to keep legal status in germany but i am some how managing to do.And i suggest you as well to keep your visa status in germany alive.
uuufffff....it was too long heheheheh isn't it....anyways....i go thru another website for immigration where there are many others who applied thru berlin join us!

From ur message i understood that i have to intimate and submit my PCC to the CHC office. It already over 6 months. so i have to make arrangements.
I already planned to extend my German visa next month. Though, it is difficult to do it after my graduation.
