Dear Members,
I applied for the permanent residence at Buffalo.
Processing of my file started at the end of January 2005 and I received a letter at the begining of February 2006, saying that my application has been refused because of insufficient points (66) to qualify.
Over the processing time of one year, my skills were raised and now I have more evidence to support my case (5 points for masters degree and 10 points for arranged employment) so that minimum points to qualify can be satisfied.
Can anyone please let me know whether I can send the supporting documents and Immigration officer will reconsider my file or if I wish to immigrate to Canada I need to reapply as a fresh ?
Thanks,
Salil
dont worry just write a letter to immigration officials enclosing the proof of your new transcrits you will be fine
You will have to appeal with the new documents enclosed. It is best if you approach a good certified immigration lawyer who knows his stuff and is member of the canadian immigation to represent you.
go for a lawyer Dude else you will complicate your stuff furthur.

Sucess is not an accident it is a result of hardwork with intelligence.
Salil,
If your file has been rejected by Buffalo office and now if you can prove that you can qualify, the only way is to apply again with new application form , fees, documents and all. If you look at their rejection letter you can find the statement that i have made.
before you apply again, make sure that your points are correct this time. you donot want to be rejected again.
If it is a straight forward case, there is no need for any lawyer. Consultants are not needed at all.

I am a Gents and not a Ladies.
appeal via a member lawer is the best approach..but make sure that the time granted for the appeal is still valid with u..ceck the CIC website for appeals tiime period granted.
My application refused in sufficient # 65, I had 3 # in 'IELTS', again attended 'IELTS' obtained 2 units, scored 67, I filed fresh application,
My question are simple:
Q. officer already assesed and checked all original documents and awarded maximum numbers in 5 factors, Exp., Age, Qualification, Adapbility, so,Can she minimize numbers?
(last time linking 2 units, and I covered by 'IELTS')
Q. Can she again call me in interview (english proficiency and suitability numbers are not in their hands, now)
I hope, give me posative reply.
