So don't worry, everything has been taken care of. I won't buy phone - which is already a Brick. And as I said Update is not required to Unlock.

Maybe, but now 1.1.1 is the default version of the phones u get to buy... The sad thing is....you can unlock it to use only the 3rd party applications, but you can’t use the phone feature itself…I think it was Youtube and WiFi, everything else doesn't. work....at least for now ...

there has not been a fully functional v1.1.1->v1.0.2 downgrade, only a partial one. Though it shouldn't be long for one to come out....hopefully speaking.
BTW, curious to know whether u got one yet????????????

I was hoping to get one this weekend. But sounds like bad plan. Appears I don't know that much.
