Friends,

A friend of ours is visiting Toronto next week (13-18 Nov). Since we don't live in Canada, neither we nor he has any idea on the clothing-winter wear to carry with him. The temp shown on internet is 4 to 7 C in a day. Will a sweater and a jacket be enough? Can it be harsh for a Latin American (the guy has never seen winters)? What extra to carry?

Any suggestion is welcome.

It will cold as in Toronto there is windchill.

Ask them to bring thick jackets and cap because sweaters are no good and I am sure they do not want to get sick

For wild winters you should be careful with your Limbs.

Make sure your frd gets good gloves and thick warm socks.
And inner warm wear is also adviced.
