i'm with sympatico right now but planning to switch. i heard good reviews about tech savy. anyone using it? on there website it says "5 Meg Service $29.95/month + Band Rate 5M/800K" what is band rate?

The Band Rate applies in case of a DRY dsl => you don't have a landline. In that case, the provider charges you a flat free per month in additional to the DSL charges. I heard that the band rate is around $8 / month. You might want to call and verify.
