Is any one aware of a place in Mississauga who can fix / replace zips for a reasonable price for jackets, as we do not feel like throwing away jackets, which are only one / two years old due to zip problems.

Thanks,

Sorry I cannot help with ,more specific info you requested.
A local dry cleaner maybe able to help. They normally replace buttons and zips on jackets too.

There's actually a shop that does zip/shoe repair in Square one. Its just outside of the Walmart exit to the mall on the lower level.

There are few shops that do it but their cost is so high, is not worth getting it fixed.

Some people carry to India to get it fixed.

If you do find someone here, pl let me know the cost. I also have to get it fixed.

Thanks.

I got it fixed it at Rivergrove Rd in Mississauga. The lady charges $1 an inch and it generally comes to $28-$35 depending on length of your jacket.

There is another one at Newin Centre (Chinese) but price is little bit higher by $5-$10.

Thanks for all your responses.

I went to Newin Center and it appears there are a couple of shops offering this service there. I walked in to "Five to Five Gift Shop”. A Chinese lady runs this shop. She charged me $10 each to replace the hooks on 2 of our leather jackets, as the zips were OK. I am happy that we will be able to use them this season.

Thanks,
