Is there any one on the forum who has shipped home theater speakers (BOSE, Acoustimass)to Canada from Middle East while migrating? If so what type of converters were used to make the thing work in Canada at 110 V. Were the converters purchased localy in Canada or purchased from ME. Any opinion by experts on subject or any one has experience may give inputs please.
Other specs for the speakers is
Company: BOSE
Model: Acoustimass 10 Series 3
Power Supply: 220-240V

This was in Alaska. The native Indian was listening to the local Electrical Contractor talking to the Electricity board. He said "You will do a lot better if you step down from four forty to Two twenty".
WOW! The native Indian Goes back home and tells his old wife " I think I am going to step down from four forties to two twenties"! That is the order of the day!! I am going to look for the Cuties at the Bar.
Have a good one. Cheers.
Freddie.
Thank you AshwaniG and Freddie :-)
Why bring speakers and such across continents? They are cheap and available here! Polk and Infinity are better sounding (they separate frequencies into three ranges as opposed to two by the Bose speakers. Anyways, good luck your those.
Hi GlobalIndian,
I have bought these almost 3 yrs back from Dubai where I am presently staying and that too at a very good price compared to the price its available in Canada and USA, ~ 30% , and so far they are working wonderful and I am happy with its results. So i dont mind it crossing atlantic with me along with my other stuffs when I do shipping.
With all respect thanks for your time and giving your opinion
