Hi all CD'S.
After you give your citizenship test and oath do they take away your Indian passports?
What if u need to travel the very next day of your oath?
Please guide or post some information .

No, the canadian govt doesnt care for your India Passport.
You can apply for canadian passport right after taking oath. there is an extra charge for faster processing. You can mention the date you need to travel on the passport form.

I am yet to apply for citizenship and my Indian passport is expired.
what could be the problems except not able to travel . Any problem in going to US( with PR Card)?

The PR card is required for your re-entry into Canada. As regards entry into US with a PR card and an expired PP, I would not take my chances especially after 911. If I'm right, the PR card gives your status while the PP gives your citizenship.
