Yes. I have done. I am going to make a very big major lifestyle change based on this thread - which is that I am being gouged as a canadian by everyone in Canada (which I donot want to share in this board as it will be sort of like my blog).
This thread has reinforced the fact that I am being gouged as a Canadian. It has also reinfoced the fact to me that a majority of CD's ( and other Canadian born Canadians ) do not even acknowledge that we as canadians are being gouged.
To prevent gouging is a 2 step process :
1. Admit that you are being gouged as a Canadian)
2. Take steps to stop being gouged.
When a majority of the population do not even acknowledge point no. 1, Point 2 is redundant. A few Canadian born Canadians that I have spoken to in a major networking sites say things like " I am in a country where the healthcare is great and universal - for a fee"," Where there is no violence / religious hatred","Where it is peaceful","Where there is plenty of food for every one" etc... and they donot mind paying an extra fee.
I belive that in CD, only me and DT (and we disagree with each othere that candian immigration of skilled immigrants is a great govt. scam)have given some constructive points to prove that we are being gouged and we are a miniority. However I know that there a lot of immigrants and locals who are doing things against being gouged lile traveling to USA to purchase stuff, putting pressure to politicians to stop gouging etc....
We will suceed one day but it will take a lot of time. Rome was not built in a day.
I for one is very happy with the way that this thread has evolved.

I had, in my earlier post drawn attention to one of the biggest rip off , which is not offering management/ senior administrative positions to all Canadians in transparent manner.
Another Rip off for CDs is collecting high taxes ( income tax + provincial tax + health tax) and charging CPP
Now it is a well known fact that life expectancy of CDs is much lower. Many CDS work their ass off in factories and work till age of 65 and then die early due to strenuous and hard work. Once the person is dead, his/her legal heir does not get anything (though there is a small survivor spousal benefit).
I, for sure, would start taking my CPP benefits at 60 (that is if I survive till 60!)

Here is some more info on cario vascular diseases and Indians ..
Current projections suggest that by the year 2020 India will have the largest cardiovascular disease burden in the world.
One fifth of the deaths in India are from coronary heart disease. By the year 2020, it will account for one third of all deaths. Sadly, many of these Indians will be dying young.
Heart disease in India occurs 10 to 15 years earlier than in the west.
There are an estimated 45 million patients of coronary artery disease in India. An increasing number of young Indians are falling prey to coronary artery disease. With millions hooked to a roller-coaster lifestyle, the future looks even more grim.
There are at least 20 million diabetics in India, which is the highest ever reported number from anywhere in the world. The prevalence of diabetes varies between 6-8% in urban and 2-3% in rural adults.
Indians tend to be diabetic at a relatively young age of 45 years which is about 10 years earlier than in West
The prevalence of diabetes varies between 6-8% in urban and 2-3% in rural adults.
There appears to be a steady increase in hypertension prevalence over the last 50 years, more in urban than in rural areas. Hypertension is 25-30% in urban and 10-15% in rural subjects

My latest post was in response to some CDs arguing that health of CDs improve in Canada due to clean water, air etc Crap!
I do not understand what are you trying to prove? Well I paste another link and also copy "Conclusion" part
http://www.statcan.ca/english/research/82-618-MIE/82-618-MIE2005002.htm
Conclusion
Immigrants generally arrive with better health than the Canadian-born. However, as time passes, this “healthy immigrant effect” tends to diminish, as their health status converges with that of the host population. Some medical problems may arise as immigrants age, as well as when they are integrated and adopt behaviours that have negative health impacts. Other health problems may be due to the stress of immigration itself, which involves finding suitable employment and establishing a new social support network.
