I wonder if Startec and Comwave, who have their offices in India or NY can still call you?? Those are the guys that harass me the most. They start the conversation if I am their buddy/relative

Well I had heard consumer will have to pay to get this service but looks like it is free for us...and calling companies will have to pay. I am waiting for this....

I do get annoyed attending these calls but sometimes i feel we should be gentle with them as one day we could be on other side.

It is definitely a good a service, but I think that there are lots of exemption including, the company with whom I had done business in last 18 months can still call me for marketing purpose. Now when this service would be in effect, all the company’s telemarketers would be free & they will start calling past 18 months customers even more aggressively. Now that’s gonna be a problem & I am going to expect a lot of calls from all ripping & looser company’s with whom I did business during last 18 months for even once & then cancel the service after getting their first bill consisting lot of extra service charges.
