India LD - Long distance company

Hi Guys,

I just want to know if anyone has used this company for making long distance calls to India? It's called - India LD (www.indiald.com). I normally use Reliance India call and get 5.9 cents per minute to call India. However, this company India LD is offering 500 minutes for $11.95 (2.3 cents per min.). Looks good to me.

But before I register I wish to know about it more if someone has already used it. I have been using Reliance for close to 3 years and never experienced any trouble with the calls, customer service, etc.? Could you please let me know how's their (IndiaLD) call quality, etc.?

They charge1.9 cents/min to major cities.

They charge 2.9 for the other locations.

Six of one and half a dozen of the other. It works for me.

They are in Mississauga. It is O.K. The lines are clear most of the time. Once in a way I have to hang up and try again. I loose a couple of cents. What the heck.!

I subscribed to IndiaLD recently, tried calling several time from Toronto, only one way speech; I can hear the voice of call receiving person crystal clear(Who is in India), however they cannot hear my voice at all. Tried several destination in India, but all same. Reconfirmed with the people who I called and they said they did not hear a single word, it was just blank.

Interestingly my minutes still remains the same what I purchased and the balance too. I have send them request to cancel my subscription and refund my money, so far no response . Called the provided customer care number as well, no response

Any lead to solve this, I do not want to continue and get my money back.

It's been happening to me as well since yesterday. I thought, I would use this service to call all my relatives/friends on Diwali. But, unfortunately they couldn't hear me while I could. I am not sure what's the issue, but thinking about calling them tomorrow. I had to use my landline to make long distance calls.

What a waste when it was needed the most.

You get 600 minutes for 10 USD and the line is very clear. They also have pinless and speed dial option.
