Dear All,

First of all let me congratulate the inventor of this website for making such a wonderfull tool for all. I am writting this for the first time, thi is my first message, hence pl. forgive me if I am not following any of the rules.

I would be appearing for my IELTS shortly. I am a well settled manager in INDIA along with my wife, who is also a senior officer in a bank. Please answer the following first querries from my side,

Should I come alone or we both should come (we have no kids)?, I am a diploma holder and my wife is a graduate.

If I manage only 5000 CAN $ as settlement funds, will that be enough?

How is the possiblility to get a sales job? are they available?

PLease reply,

Hi VJ,

In my view, it is always advicable to go to Canada as single first, try to locate a job, accomodation,etc... for yourself and then call your wife. If you are taking along with you a huge settlement fund and would not mind burning your money till either of you get a job then it is okay to go together.

Also I would like to bring to your notice that, the canadian govt would not give you right of landing papers unless you can show CAN $ 10,000/- in your account.

All the best

Regards
Sameer

First of all let me thank you for becoming the first reply to my post..

Yes sameer you are right one way, but you must have read that I hold only a diploma and my wife has done a post graduation diploma, hence what I thought if she gets a job in a call center or a bank (she is an experienced banker) first, I can struggle for a while to get a job matching my profile.

I have read in one of the post that monthly a couple needs 1200 CAD $, so if one of us gets a job first, we can start struggling. from the first day of our marriage, we both are working professionals.

Let's see, I would surely give a thought on this....are u in canada? or in INDIA?..

Regards,

VJ..
