Some of them would have gone to India
but then most of them would have settled down in Canada with a job, car , mortgage payment and worries about how to secure their future in Canada + would have gotton real friends / network that they might not find CD useful to them anymore. After all CD is mostly used by people who are still trying to settle down comfortably in Canada or explore settling down permanently in Canada

Hope this helps

Well, I have settled down properly in Canada however, I still continue to browse through canediandesi.ca. This site is not only useful but also very informative. In my case, I got quick guidance on some queries I had posted earlier and many times I have provided guidance to members whom I have never met or seen. Honestly, providing a guidance through this portal is a kind of social work to me and I can provide it at my convenient time.

In my opinion, all those who initially started this portal are true leaders helping out people of all communities.

This portal provided very useful information to many members who are seeking such information and opportunities to those members who want to share their knowledge.

Active members are doing excellent work in keeping this portal alive.

I can relate to that.
Visiting CD is the first thing that i would love to do when i get time but am not able to do so anymore. I have gone back to work and its 6a.m to 11p.m kee bhagam bhaag now. Its so damn difficult to manage both home and work.

whether old stalwarts are still present on this forum or not, I am very sure that the present active members are maintaining the standards set by the initial lot and they are doing a wonderful job in helping the new members.

I agree with you guys. I have been surfing this site for the last 4.5 years, and at times contribute as well. What to say, I am so used to this site that even before checking my emails everyday, I check this site. lol...

I truly appreciate the work done by the old members (who I don't see on this site anymore) but my highest regards to the ones that are doing this social service for immigrants. Hats off man!
