Is there any one underwent with my situation....
Me and my wife are PR since nov 2001, we went back to home country during Aug 2005, we were blessed with son July 2006, I returned to canada on july 2008( as I got good offer ) applied for my son's sponsorship, received my son's PR visa last week. My wife applied for travel document ( her PR card expired feb 2008 ) with H&C factor( she has to be in india untill my son gets his visa )...
Normally CHC new delhi process all travel document cases with in a week time, but my wife's case more than 7 days over, not yet heared any status from CHC-New delhi, I could not reach by phone ... Help less... Let me know any one passed through the same...

The statement you are making and the dates you are providing us herewith has some flaws. You will notice the same when you start calculating your PR dates and the five year expiry of the PR cards.
Say for instance if your Wife's PR Card expires in Feb of 2008, she would not have gotten into Canada before the Feb of 2003.
So, when an Immigration Officer punches the dates in the appropriate columns in the computer and also checks in with the dates of travel, he might have hit some discrepancy, which you and I might not know till we sit down and do a check with a fine tooth comb.
When that happens they do a thorough scrutiny of the papers submitted and also all of the pages in the passport and also the colour the grade and texture of the papers in the passport too. In short, have a little patience or do your own check with what ever you submitted to them, if you have the copies of all of the submissions.
For all you know, there may not be any problem with the papers. The department might be closed for so many holidays and breaks that the Indian Government enjoys in that neck of the woods.
I know, I know you are worried and you are pulling your hairs off the scalp.
Just wait till tomorrow. It will be a better day.

Thanks for your reply. Basically when we landed 2001 , there was no PR card. PR card introduced in 2003 only, that is why you are geeting flaws. I hope you understood now.
Any how I can only wait....
Is there any way I can have check with CHC New delhi.. I already tried with Phone, it goes to board only not allowing me to talk to some one..
Along with application my wife submitted copies of Health card, driving license, Tax return, PR card copy and all canadian proof she had...
As you told they will check each one... by refering to each department in canada.. will take more time...
