Are you there?
I have to agree with BL. Albeit few, there are muslims who would have positive view on Mr. Blairs comments. My concern is why Canadian leaders, although say much of the same things, are not convincing enough, and sound more like Bush than Blair. How is Muslim community taking the stand shown my Peter and Harper?
BL?

I now have a newfound respect for Blair. He's FINALLY not talking like a politician. You can see that he's one of the few politicians who's finally lifted the thick veil of political correctness and is now saying what needs to be said.
After that VERY articulate speech he delivered with Bush, here's TB again making a lot of sense at another speech at the LA WAC....
Way to go! I hope moderate muslims applaud him as much as I do...

WOW. All of us who value democracy and secularism NEED leaders like him.
Blair is so right on when he talks about the 'victim' card being played over and over
----------
The strategy behind Islamist extremism, Blair said, is based "on a presumed sense of grievance that can motivate people to divide against each other. Our answer has to be a set of values strong enough to unite people with each other.'
---------------------
If it werent for Bush I dont think Blair could say the things he is saying. Bush is the one who flagged the cause Blair is now championing. It would be soooo easy for Bush to call for a immediate ceasefire. I commend him for staying the tough course along with Blair. I hope the rest of the west can fall in behind them.
